Refund policy

At Recollection Brand, we want to ensure you are happy and satisfied with your order. If for any reason you wish to return your order, you may do so within 10 days of receiving your delivery (the return must be shipped to our facility by day 10). All components of the delivery including the product and its original packaging need to be returned unused and new.

Please note that items purchased from our sale section are exempt from this policy. All sale items are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges. All sales are final.

CHECKOUT+ & RETURN SHIPPING

Start a return

At checkout you will have the option to add Checkout+ for approximately $5- $10, depending on order size. Checkout+ provides free return shipping on all eligible items and package protection against loss, theft, or damage in transit — giving you complete peace of mind with your order.

If you do not add Checkout+ at the time of purchase, a flat return shipping fee of $12 will be deducted from your refund or store credit, or charged at the time of exchange. This applies to all return types, including refunds to your original payment method, exchanges, and returns for store credit.

If your returned item is received in damaged or unsellable condition, we may ship it back to you upon request for a $12 return shipping fee. Please note that we will hold such items for a maximum of 30 days from the date of receipt. After this 30-day period, your eligibility to request the return of these items will expire. We are unable to store merchandise beyond this timeframe, and unclaimed items will not be available for retrieval.

All merchandise returned for exchange, store credit, or refund must have original tags attached, be unused and in sellable condition. You may return any items that do not have signs of wear including, but not limited to: stains, tags removed or missing, tags refastened in the wrong place, the smell of any fragrances or perfumes, damage on the garment, and the absence of the original packaging. When you are sending your order back, please ensure the product and all of its components remain new and well-packaged. In the event that the returned item(s) are not in sellable condition, a customer service representative will reach out via email and offer to ship the items back to you at your expense.

Additionally, any items that were purchased on sale and discounted by 40 percent or higher are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges. Once your order is placed, we’re unable to make any pricing adjustments for any reason; this includes adding discounts, applying expired promotions, or making any other changes.

All in-person purchases must be submitted for return within 2 days of the purchase date. After this time frame, the item will no longer be eligible for a return or exchange.

Upon dispute, Recollection Brand holds the final discretion to accept or reject any return or refund requests.

REFUNDS

PLEASE NOTE, ALL ITEMS MARKED FINAL SALE CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.

Please allow 3–5 business days for the return to process once it is received. You will be notified via email once your return has been processed. If you requested a refund, we will refund the price of the merchandise excluding the original shipping charges that may have been applied to your order, as well as any applicable return shipping fee. Depending on your bank, please allow up to two billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement.

Please note: if you are returning items from multiple orders, each order must be submitted separately through our return portal. Do not combine multiple orders into one return package. This ensures our warehouse team can process your returns quickly and accurately. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. 

EXCHANGES

If you have requested an exchange, once your returned item(s) are approved, the new order will be shipped to you with a new tracking email. During the exchange process, you have the option for an instant exchange if you don’t want to wait for the return to be received. You will be prompted to enter your card information in order to proceed with the instant exchange. You will have 10 days to ship your item(s). If your return is not in transit after 10 days, or if the items are not in returnable condition, your card will be charged for the full amount of the item(s).

SHOP CREDIT

During the return process, you will have the opportunity to choose store credit instead of a refund. If you did not purchase Checkout+, a $12 return shipping fee will apply and will be deducted from your store credit amount. Store credit is issued as a gift card and will be sent to the email address on file with your order.

Once you have selected store credit, we are no longer able to modify the outcome. We cannot issue a refund once store credit is selected.

Package Protection

At checkout, you’ll have the option to add Package Protection to your order for a small fee. This coverage is provided through our partner Seel and protects against loss, theft, and damage in transit.

Coverage applies in the following situations:

• Lost packages — domestic orders not delivered within 30 days of shipment, or international orders within 60 days
• Theft — packages marked as delivered but not received, reported within 7 days of the delivery scan
• Damage — items damaged beyond usability (not cosmetic), reported within 7 days of delivery

All claims must be filed within 90 days of your order date. Coverage is up to $5,000 per order.

CHARGEBACK POLICY

At Recollection, we take fraudulent chargebacks seriously and have a zero-tolerance policy for chargeback abuse.

What is a Chargeback?

A chargeback occurs when a customer disputes a charge with their bank or credit card provider rather than contacting us directly to resolve an issue. While we understand that legitimate disputes can arise, we encourage all customers to reach out to us first so we can resolve any concerns promptly.

Our Process

All chargeback cases are reviewed thoroughly. Customers who file chargebacks are flagged in our system. Any future orders placed by flagged customers will be automatically cancelled and refunded.

Please Note:

Once a chargeback has been submitted, we are unable to send replacement orders, issue refunds, or provide any further assistance on the matter. The dispute is now in the hands of your financial institution.

How to Avoid a Chargeback

We strongly discourage submitting a chargeback. If you have a concern about your order, please email us before initiating a dispute; we are happy to assist with returns, exchanges, missing items, or any other issues.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
